Psycho-Educational Assessment
It is a formal test of cognitive functioning, academic achievement and emotional well being. Children are often assessed to determine how they are coping in formal learning environment. Assessment can further indicate if the child experience barriers to learning. The aim is to recommend interventions that can help the client.
Therapy
Therapy allows a person to talk about their problems and feelings in a confidential and dependable environment.
Career guidance and assessments
Grade 10, 11 or Grade 12 students who are unsure of which career path to go down and want a better understanding of what to study next may require a Career Guidance assessment. Thobani often involves a cognitive component with the personality and interests tests to get a better understanding of the student’s ability level.
