Studio G is an art gallery working in partnership with the world-renowned hospitality and tourism group, Village N Life. Village N Life owns and operates luxury hotels and serviced-places accommodation in some of the most desirable destinations in South Africa and abroad. Studio G is managed by entrepreneur and sculptor, Gerhard van Niekerk. He is assisted by Aidon Westcott – a well known and highly respected art curator and artist. Studio G aims to provide a unique platform for established as well as emerging local artists to exhibit their work in some of South Africa’s most luxurious, exclusive and successful hotels. In Camps Bay, Studio G is situated on the beachfront in the iconic The Bay Hotel. In Hermanus, Studio G forms part of Harbour House Hermanus and is situated a stones throw from the Old Harbour in Harbour Road. These galleries showcase some of the best contemporary South African artists and are must-see galleries for all art lovers and collectors visiting the Western Cape.
