Pixieland Nursery School

Pixieland Nursery School is a warm, family-run nursery school located in Rietvalleirand, Pretoria East, conveniently close to Elarduspark and the R21. We provide quality early childhood care for children from 3 months to 6 years, including Grade RR, in a calm, nurturing, and well-structured environment. Since 2002, Pixieland has supported local families by creating a space where children feel safe, secure, and valued. We believe that young children learn best through play, routine, exploration, and meaningful relationships. Our approach allows each child to develop at their own pace while building confidence, independence, and a love of learning. Our spacious, farm-style setting offers ample opportunities for outdoor play, movement, and connection with nature. Children enjoy a balanced daily routine that includes free play, guided activities, creative expression, rest time, and age-appropriate learning experiences that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Pixieland is staffed by experienced caregivers and qualified ECD teachers who work together to provide consistent care and gentle guidance. We offer bilingual learning in English and Afrikaans, small class sizes, and both full-day and half-day care options to support the diverse needs of families. We are open Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 17:30 and operate during school holidays, closing on public holidays and during the December break. Parents are warmly encouraged to visit the school, meet our team, and experience the environment before enrolling. Pixieland Nursery School is a place where children are known, supported, and encouraged to grow with confidence.
