Klook Granny Flats

Kloof Granny Flats is a premier, turnkey construction and project management firm specializing in the design and development of high-quality auxiliary dwelling units, garden cottages, and secondary homes throughout the KwaZulu-Natal region. With a strong focus on the Upper Highway areas—including Kloof, Hillcrest, and Gillitts—as well as the greater Durban area, the company provides a comprehensive, end-to-end service that simplifies the complex process of expanding a residential property. The company distinguishes itself by managing every phase of the construction lifecycle. This "concept-to-completion" approach begins with professional architectural design and site assessment, ensuring that every unit is optimized for the specific topography and climate of the KZN region. Recognizing that one of the biggest hurdles for homeowners is legal compliance, Kloof Granny Flats takes full responsibility for the administrative burden, including the preparation and submission of building plans to the eThekwini Municipality and ensuring all zoning and environmental regulations are met. Their construction expertise covers a wide range of needs, from compact studio flats and home offices to expansive two-bedroom cottages designed for multi-generational living or high-end rental income. By employing skilled tradespeople and utilizing durable, weather-resistant materials, they ensure that every structure is built to last. Their services include everything from foundational earthworks and structural brickwork to specialized roofing, plumbing, and electrical installations, culminating in the provision of all necessary Certificates of Compliance (COCs) and Occupancy Certificates.
