Gilligan's Kitchens is a design and manufacturing company in the home furnishing and renovation industry. Gilligan's Kitchens started doing business in Ramsgate, Margate in January 2001. We started primarily as a kitchen manufacturer and branched out into the solid timber industry after the acquisition of wood working machinery. purchasing these machines was the only way to maintain the quality and service expected at Gilligan's Kitchens. Gilligan's Kitchens is now able to do all its work in house thus maintain its standards.
Attention to detail at Gilligan's Kitchens is what enables us to maintain the standards required. For example, nail guns and staple guns are not permitted at Gilligan's Kitchens. You will never find a nail holding a light scribe or joining a ceiling fascia etc. Only purpose made screws, furniture fittings or glue in tandem with dowels or biscuits are ever used at Gilligan's Kitchens.
Exposed panels on all of the products at Gilligan's Kitchens are blemish free. We will never use screws or any fastenings on the exterior of a product. For example, the photo of the balustrade shows a balustrade manufactured in one piece. There are no blemishes or hole covered with wood filler. In fact there is not a screw or nail of any sort on that product.
The spray booth enables Gilligan's Kitchens to achieve a top quality finish to all the in house machined doors and panels. Panel saws, multi borer, surface planers, thicknesses, complete installation outfit all add to the professional finish. Edge banding machine ensure Gilligan's Kitchens does not use paper edging.
