Dr Gary Dewberry

Dr Gary Dewberry graduated with his Doctorate in Chiropractic, from the National Chiropractic College in Chicago, USA, in August 1988. He also qualified in Physiotherapy and Acupuncture. ​ He established Highway Chiropractic Clinic in November 1988 in Pinetown. He has practised full time in the Pinetown area for the last 29 years. In addition, he has a satellite clinic in the Lighthouse Mall, in Umhlanga Rocks. ​ Dr Dewberry is a keen sportsman, and recently completed his 10th Cape Argus Cycle Race. He has always participated in sport, playing rugby, tennis, squash and golf, as well as practising Karate for over 10 years. He was awarded his black belt (1st Dan), and was Natal Champion in his weight division 5 years running, and South African Champion for 3 years. He benefited immensely from chiropractic treatment as a result of various sports related injuries and it was through this that he became interested in Chiropractic and decided to pursue it as his chosen profession. ​ He specialises in stress relief and stress related injuries, as well as general back/neck pain, headaches and neuro/muscular/skeletal disorders. Special Interests in practice include not only sports related injuries, but the treatment of both paediatric (babies and young children) and geriatric (elderly and arthritic) related chiropractic conditions.
