Strips of smoothly sanded pine or rough grains; Rustic constructs with intertwined burls and knots... this is the textured world of craftmaster Warren Posselt, the founder of Designer Afrika.

Based on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, Warren's passion for woodwork started at an early age, with the young carpentry enthusiast learning all he could from his father. As he progressed in age and skill, Warren devoured information on woodwork, joinery and more.

In 2008, his passion materialized into reality when he created a set of custom-built reptile cages, and consequently, Designer Afrika was started.

Within a decade, Warren's business has grown from designing and custom-developing furniture and caging to include wooden decking, fencing, classing and smalls, lapas, and shopfitting. Warren's clients have praised him for his exceptional talent and ability to turn ideas into reality, and providing "high quality, beautiful work".

Designer Afrika specializes in professionally and creatively constructed timber products, either built to specification or custom-designed to suit the client's need.
