The Brent Black Group was founded with a bold spirit but a relatively modest objective.

Our idea was straightforward:social-emotional wellbeing and addiction support services shouldn't come with a price-tag, they shouldn't be a one-size fits all, they should offer respect for personal choice. But what other options are there? Why aren't people offered choices in the type of treatment they receive? Why are the same treatment models applied to people with completely different backgrounds and social circumstances?

The Brent Black Group was founded as an alternative, and a logical solution.

We offer support for all types of addictions: drugs, alcohol, behavioural - porn, sex, gambling etc. - including early and crisis interventions, individual, family and emergency counselling as well as education and awareness for family members.

Our approach is client-centred, non-judgemental and non-prescriptive. Aiming to create as safe and trusting a space as possible, we work with clients and do not enforce unrealistic goals. We encourage honesty, and believe that progress is better than perfection. Our addiction support is founded on re-establishing connection with self.

Our mission is not to change, but to modernise. To pro-actively focus on the development of a more diverse, innovative offering of solutions for you.
