The bed guy

The bed guy was established in 2007 to service the growing need of a dedicated online bed and mattress store. The online purchasing market in South Africa was just about to take off and an opportunity was uncovered in the bed and mattress industry. Without any prior knowledge of online platforms or marketing skills, The bed guy was established and began to run adverts and promotions on local directories and classified ad websites. The popularity of the concept was soon realized and the very first website was established. The bed guy continued on a slow but steady growth phase and over time has refined it's product range to include a complete range of bedroom furniture. This particular furniture is made from Radiata timber which is sourced from sustainable forests in the Western Cape. This ties in perfectly with our vision of environmental protection and sustainability. The bedroom furniture consists of various different categories and models and includes items such as sleigh beds, bunk beds, headboards and wooden bed frames. These pieces of bedroom furniture compliment our bed range that remains the core of the business. In our bed and mattress range we are up to date with all of the latest technologies. The ranges include the foam ranges which are memory foam, high density foam, latex foam and gel infused memory foam. On the spring side we have the standard innerspring, also known as Bonnell spring and pocket spring units. Our delivery area is primarily the Gauteng province but we do ship our products nationally when required. We have a national transport infrastructure that can get to most major towns and cities in South Africa.
