Battery Clinic was founded in 2006 after extensive research into the demand for batteries in South Africa. At this time in the country, car sales were increasing dramatically and the automotive industry was doing very well, which lead to the formation of the now-popular battery providers.

In 2007, we moved into our very first business premises and found that, within our first three months of business, the demand for reconditioned batteries increased significantly. We have had to look for bigger and better machines to handle this demand, which was just the beginning of exciting things to come.
