Our trowel on flooring range is unlike anything else that has been before, for two reasons. It is the only floor product that comes pre-mixed and can be joined. Most trowel-on floor products fall into two catgories, namely cementitious or resin based. These floors all have to be accurately mixed on site to prevent colour differences. Furthermore, with most of this types of floors, it is necessary to create expansion joints. Also, none of these floors can be joined or patched. Another important factor about most trowel-on flooring products is that, when the material is applied where there is an exciting floor, it is necesarry to first remove the old -floor, The drawback is that most instances, irrespective of the tools used, a great deal of force is required to remove most types of floors. Apart from the mess, nine-times-out-of-ten, the underlying screed gets damaged, and then it in turn, also needs to be removed.

Our floors are a three step process. Firstly, we coat the surface with mixture of polymer, cement and plaster sand. This coating has excellent adhesive to virtually any substrate including styrene, board, wood, plastic, ceramics, cement or steel. Following this, our pre-mixed floor coatings is applied using a steel trowel. If needs be, the floor can be stopped at the end of a working day, and resumed the following morning. Once the floor is complete, it is then honed using a sponge or carpet float. The excess sturry created from from this process is skimmed to a smooth finish using a steel trowel. It is at this stage, that all imperfective can be either patched or polished out. Once the floor is finished and meets with approval it is left until completely dry, after which, a twin-pack poly-urethane sealer is applied using two coats. The Floor, when finished, is between 1mm-2mm thick, is extremely hard and if honed correctly, has no trowel marks and undulations so common with most other floors.
