AFRITECH INSTRUMENTATION (PTY) LTD has been in operation since 2015 and is specialises in flow, pressure, level, temperature, analysers, data loggers, telemetry, automation, flow surveys, and water quality measurement. We provide engineering, specification, supply, installation, commissioning, service to both the private and public sector throughout the country. Due to the water crisis, we are participating widely in extending and renewing South Africa’s water infrastructure including water loss management, Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), and water quality. Measuring sludge blankets in clarifiers or thickeners is difficult, but the EcoSmart has proved to be very reliable in South African applications. The smart sensor is mounted under water and an ultrasonic beam gives continuous sludge level measurements.
