The business area Industrial Solutions comprises the business units' Process Technologies, Resource Technologies, System Engineering and Marine Systems. The strengths of this business area are the full spectrum of speciality and large-scale plant construction, as well as a shipbuilding tradition that, in some sectors, stretches back for centuries. Around 19,000 employees at over 70 locations form a global network whose technology portfolio guarantees the highest degree of productivity and cost effectiveness. In the fiscal year 2013/2014, the business area achieved an order intake of 5,732 million Euros and a turnover of 6,271 million Euros. Its adjusted EBIT was 738 million Euros.
